Jessica Bishara is an associate lawyer at the firm. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2019. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Guelph, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts.

During her law school years, Jessica volunteered with various initiatives including Pro Bono Students Canada and a legal clinic. She completed an externship that allowed her to work on appeals pending before the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. She also worked for the general counsel’s office at a major Ontario university throughout law school.

Jessica, who is committed in her advocacy of her client’ rights, practice encompasses all areas of the firm across employment law, litigation, and professional regulations. Jessica has a specific interest in human rights law. In addition, Jessica developed a deep understanding of privacy matters and the corporate cloud.

Jessica’s approach to her clients is engaged and patient.  She approaches each case with the goal to resolve the issues practically with the understanding that litigation may be the final solution.

Prior to joining the firm, Jessica clerked at the Superior Court of Justice, where she developed her keen interest in litigation and got a broad exposure to various areas of law.

Outside of work, Jessica endeavours to advance her French.
